How might learning about wind and flight change the way I think about Science, Technology or Research?

Next week students will be involved in the Energy Options Programme (for one hour over 6 sessions) and so I have planned a teacher-direct integrated inquiry unit based on wind energy, wings and things that fly.  Students will learn the science, technology and/or research processes then take the necessary time to create mini projects (paper or otherwise).
